SV 70ED

 

SV 70ED is an ultra compact ED doublet refractor telescope. Just drop it in your suitcase and take it anywhere you want to go.  Despite it’s small size, this telescope is a stunning visual performer.
Our 70ED utilizes a unique, hand figured 70 mm f-6 lens using an Ohara extra low dispersion element. The tube is made of aluminum and is light and durable. The telescope is triple tested in our Auburn facility.

Large knobs allow for tension adjustment. Once the tension is set, the user merely glides around the sky with a smooth and stable mount that literally "disappears" in use. This system mounts the telescope closer to the center of the tripod providing better stability and less damping time than single arm fork mounts.
