Stellarvue owners have the unique opportunity to participate in Stellartrips, educational seminars and star parties. Since most of our telescopes are airline carry on size, we like to travel to remote (sometimes exotic) locations to observe under pristine conditions. Educational seminars include our annual Majesty of the Night Sky Program presented in Auburn and Astro-photography training programs to help imagers get the most out of their equipment.

MAJESTY OF THE NIGHT SKY Vic Maris teaches this class over a Saturday afternoon and evening each summer. The afternoon portion takes place in Auburn, California and this is followed by an observing session in the High Sierra, 45 minutes away at 5,280 feet elevation. This course is fun and easy to understand. It is designed to instill excitement and appreciation for the wonders of the universe. View stars, clusters and galaxies through Stellarvue telescopes. DARK SKY STAR PARTY A four day three night camping experience under one of the darkest skies in the USA. Includes educational presentations by Tony Hallas, Vic Maris and others. This is the ultimate destination for astronomers who golf as there is an excellent 18 hole course on site. Campsites (or a room at the Villa) and dinners are included in the price of the course. Space is limited so watch here for the next class and sign up right away. FUTURE STELLARTRIPS We have made several trips to a High Sierra Resort which has two hidden lakes and was reserved exclusively for our use. Two trips have been made to Hawaii to observe at 9,200' elevation. We will return again. In 2010 we will host the second Dark Sky Star Party  Other trips will be planned and posted here.
