Craig Sherris caught this spectacular shot of the Pelican Nebula in Cygnus with his SVX130T - Raptor. This emission nebula lies about 1,800 light-years away from Earth and has a diameter of roughly 10 light-years. As an active star forming region, it contains a particularly active mix of star formation and evolving gas clouds.
