ADMIN TRAINEE POSITION AVAILABLE
Stellarvue is a high end APO refractor telescope manufacturer in Auburn, California, We have been in business 21 years and we are growing. We are in need of a person who can work in the Admin office and shipping area (images shown below). We will be interviewing applicants who pass our initial screening starting December 2! We are scheduling interviews now so don't hesitate if you are interested. Duties of this position include:
Communicating with dealers
We are looking for someone who is comfortable using computers and has experience in working in an office setting, downloading orders, invoicing and shipping as well as using Quickbooks or a similar accounting program.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop experience and skills as an administrator. There are two possibilities for a prospective candidate:
Working 9 AM - 2 PM or 3 PM handing the duties above or
Working full time 8:30 - 5 PM handling the above and performing admin duties once all items are shipped. Admin duties will include assisting in accounting, other admin tasks, and assisting in the operation where needed such as helping with some light assembly (below), based on the abilities of the employee.
Full time employees are eligible to receive benefits and all employees may participate in our Simple Ira program which is offered each year.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM for the full time position and 9 AM - 2 PM for the part time position.
This position must work on site at Stellarvue Headquarters at 11802 Kemper Road in Auburn California.
Complete training is provided.
Pay is dependent on education, experience, and performance and is based on the BLS median wage for this position. The trainee will begin work at $15.50 Hr. As the employee progresses in learning and accomplishing tasks advancement is provided and encouraged. The health benefits available for full time employees are provided following a 60 day probation period.

CUSTOMER AND TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
Stellarvue is in need of a person with direct experience in the Astronomical Telescope Industry in customer service and providing technical advice to amateur astronomers and educational institutions. The applicant must have experience in using telescopes and in astro-photography. This position will be trained so they can take orders, advise people on our telescope and accessory line and answer technical questions such as how to connect cameras to our equipment.
- This is a full time position working Monday - Friday 8:30-5.
- This position may work off site but will need to travel to Stellarvue Headquarters in Auburn California 2 - 4 times per year.
- This position will work with our customers, answer emails, phone calls, provide customer support and will make sales.
- This position may attend star parties, trade shows and work with educational organizations in placing large Stellarvue telescopes in schools, colleges and parks.
- Pay is dependent on education, experience, and performance in assisting customers and in sales. This is a non-commission position as we strive to provide our customers with outstanding customer service above all else.

It is essential that the person filling this position have the experience outlined above and the ability to attend in house training and quickly learn what they do not know. This person must also have the ability and disposition to serve our customers with great understanding and empathy. This is a technical endeavor and customers occasionally become frustrated in learning or getting a particular combination of products to work together perfectly. Our customers occasionally need help from a friendly person who understands their situation and can solve their issue. We understand that without our valued customers, we would not exist.
