 ADMIN MANAGER TRAINEE POSITION AVAILABLE 

Stellarvue is the largest high end APO refractor telescope manufacturer in the USA.  We have been in business 21 years and we are growing. We are in need of a person who can work in the Admin office and warehouse. Duties of this position include:

  • Taking orders
  • Accounting
  • Billing
  • Invoicing
  • Shipping
  • Inventory management

Experience in working in an office setting, using Quickbooks or a similar accounting program, ability to create excel spreadsheets and an interest in learning budgeting, strategic planning and updating our business and marketing plans are requirements of this position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop experience and skills as an administrator. The candidate we select will work directly with the President, Vice President and Production Manager. Training in all aspects of an Admin Manager’s job will be provided.  

  • Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30-5. There may also be a part time Office Assistant opportunity. 
  • This position must work on site at Stellarvue Headquarters at 11802 Kemper Road in Auburn California.  
  • Complete training is provided. 
  • Pay is dependent on education, experience, and performance and is based on the BLS median wage for this position. As the person selected moves from a trainee to an admin manager pay increases will given commensurate with the level of learning and accomplishment.

The trainee will begin work at $15.50 Hr. As the employee progresses in learning and accomplishing tasks, raises will be given. Health benefits are available for full time employees following a 60 day probation period.

 CUSTOMER AND TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

Stellarvue is in need of a person, preferably an amateur astronomer, to work in sales and customer support. The applicant must have experience in using telescopes. This position will be trained so they can advise people on how to use telescopes, troubleshoot issues, and take orders for our products.

  • This is a full time position working Monday - Friday 8:30-5. There may also be a part time opportunity. 
  • This position must work on site at Stellarvue Headquarters in Auburn California working with our customers, answering emails, phone calls, providing customer support and making sales. 
  • Pay is dependent on education, experience, and performance in assisting customers and in sales.

Stellarvue is known for exceptional customer service. It is essential that the person filling this position have experience with telescopes and the ability to attend in house training and quickly learn what they do not know. This person must also have the ability and disposition to serve our customers with great understanding and empathy. This is a technical endeavor and customers occasionally become frustrated in learning or getting a particular combination of products to work together perfectly. Our customers occasionally need help from a friendly person who understands their situation and can solve their issue.
