SVX130T - Deer Lick Group

Mark Morel captured this splendid image of the “Deer Lick” visual galaxy group (NGC 7331) in Pegasus with his SVX130T. This group contains 4 galaxies of 3 types. First is the unbarred spirals NGC 7335 and NGC 7366. Next is the barred spiral NGC 7337. And last is the elliptical NGC 7340. While these galaxies appear grouped together, each of them are actually over 2 million light-years apart. Together, they lie somewhere between 294 and 365 light-years away from Earth.
