optimus 100 degree 9mm
Build quality 2nd to none.., relatively light for it's size.., but most of all the view is spectacular, all the way out to that wide 100 degree FOV. this IS the best value in an ocular that I have found.., I'm super pleased with the product.

9mm 100
Pinpoint stars to the edge, M27 is amazing in my 14" Dobsonian. 8 & 10 Ethos has a bit more light transmission, but this EP is a fraction of the cost , and well worth it! Has similar build quality to TeleVue and has a better feel than its APM counterpart. Can't beat it for the price, especially since the market has gone insane.

Keeper
Super crisp images to the edges. Nice wide field. Good heft without being too heavy. Certainly a keeper.

Spectacular
I had the pleasure of looking through all of the Optimus eyepieces with Vic at the DSSP. The eyepiece is turned my 115 into a whole new scope for visual observing.

Great Eyepiece
I purchased the 9mm to pair with the 20mm Optimus for my Stellarvue SVX125D refractor. Good decision! A great one-two punch when observing. Incredible clarity across the entire field of view. Nice detail of the moon and the cloud bands on Jupiter.

Great Eyepiece
I recently purchased the 9 mm Optimus eyepiece after my excellent experience with the 20 mm Optimus. It's a great eyepiece. I tested it side by side with my 9 mm Nagler on my SV-105 and I could not see any difference. The 9mm Optimus was tack-sharp across the 100° FOV. I strongly recommend both the 20 mm and 9 mm Optimus.

A fabulous ocular
This eyepiece gives me 133x mag in my 10 inch Dobsonian. The true field of view is 0.75 degrees, with an exit pupil of about 1.9 mm. I saw clear, sharp, spacious views of Jupiter and the Moon when I first tried this eyepiece, and it also works well on double stars. The only downside is that it's a bit bulky. Other than that, this eyepiece is excellent and certainly merits your consideration.

Great Eyepiece for a reasonable price
I bought this and the 4.7mm on a whim when picking up an SV60. I tried them out on the SV60, several other small refractors and with a friend's TOA-130. They look as good to my eye as any of the other high-end eyepieces I've used. The contrast is good and the view is clear from edge to edge. The only cons I've noticed is that they are big and heavy and change the balance point for my small scope+cheap mount and like any other optical system they have to cool down to ambient temp to get the best view (which takes a few minutes). I've used them at outreach events and the nice eye relief and the wide viewport really help the public get a good view, especially the little ones that often struggle to find the image.
All in all, exactly what you'd expect from Stellarvue: A great product at a reasonable price. (Cheaper products abound, but you never know what you'll get. There are more expensive products, but do they perform any better? Probably not by much, if at all.)
