FB Dovetail Shoe

Solid build quality. Really appreciate the detailed dimensions Stellarvue provides. I knew it was going to be close—turns out the lateral slots barely fail to reach wide enough for an FT3545 focuser (on TEC 140). I made it work by reaming the slot ends just a hair wider, and at an angle to match the focuser holes. Would have been nice if this worked out of the box on such a (relatively) common refractor. But it works fine in the end and I’m happy.

Did them job, but be careful overtightening the screws on the front & back of the shoe (not the two side screws) because the shoe base is rather delicate and can start bowing towards the telescope OTT.

Very good product.

Fits my 2.5" FT focuser beuatifully. It s was either this for $14 or $50 for the FT version which I thought was way over priced. This works like it should and the quality is the same as FT if you ask me, I'll buy two!
