Very solid and steady. A perfect match for my telescope.

I bought this to allow me to mount a Celestron 9 x 50 finder scope (the kind that comes standard with their larger SCTs) on a Lunt 152mm refractor. I needed a high base to lift the finder above the level of the scope. It was necessary to make a platform to sit on top of this foot in order to mount the Celestron finder. I cut one from 3/8" aluminum. Works great!
