This is the new combination shoe that will hold either a Losmandy-style or Vixen-style mounting rail. This new version TDLV-XS is now compatible with either the Stellarvue M002C mount head, as well as the AZ75 and AZ100 Rowan mounts, which we offer as upgrades. The wide jaw will hold the standard Losmandy-style D rail, and the narrower jaw holds the Vixen-style rail.
This newer version of the shoe has a set of heavy-duty springs and guiding pins for greater stability. We build these in our shop in Auburn, California. It has two slotted bottom openings for 1/4"-20 screws used with the M002C mount head and both M8 and M6 holes for mounting it securely to the Rowan mount heads.
The TDLV-XS is 7-7/8" long. It is made with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and has stainless fasteners and springs.
