This base IS NOT for our multi-reticle finder which uses a rifle dovetail. This base is for our former, smaller, plastic red dot finder which uses a smaller bb-gun type dovetail. It mounts to the top of your telescope mounting ring using its 1/4-20 or 6mm threaded hole. Works with rings that are 1" or thinner in thickness. Comes with a stainless 1/4"-20 and a metric 6 mm socket cap head screw.
