9x50 Finder Scope - White

The build quality of this finderscope is top notch. If you need a RACI finderscope, this is the one. Changeable eyepieces too, so I can use it standalone for quick daytime observing.

Nice view and easily focused.

Haven't used it used it much yet but seems to be pretty good. I'm happy with it.

I have heard how good this finder scope is and that reputation was confirmed when I began using it. I look forward to many years of using this little scope with my reflectors and refractors. This is a very good finder scope that rivals the best.

Beautiful, easy to calibrate. Has a correct image, I mounted it on my GSO 6" F/4 imaging scope. The high mount rings are a perfect fit! The only thing I might say is for the price and the fact you still have to buy the rings separately, would have been nice if the rectile had been included. But oh well.

2nd best? The the only reason its not #1 is that is the BEST FOR ITS PRICE RANGE It's right angle and correct image with its included prism. The eyepiece is where the focus is, not on the scope. The only finder I found better cost an additional $150-200 MORE than this finder. What makes the other so much better is dual cross hairs in the eyepiece is oriented at 45° making it a little easier to see where the finder is pointing. Dual cross hairs means the object you center won't be hidden behind a pair of cross hairs but rather in a box. The StellarVue cemented optics are clear and won't change position. The powder coating on the body is 2nd to none. It is truly top notch as is the eyepiece. The eyepiece of course has threads for an illuminator. It's StellarVue, of course it does.

I waffled over this purchase given how much more expensive it is compared to some other options. But when I tested it next to the stock 8x50 finder that came on my sky watcher 12.5 inch Dobsonian, There was no comparison. This finder very sharp and feels much better made. Now I plan to replace the finder on my AT102 ED with another Stellarvue!

Excellent image quality and construction, highly recommended. Overall, the best right angle, image correct 9X50 finder scope on the market.

Scope arrived on time and was really well packaged. Over-all build quality is impressive and the optics are excellent. Much brighter and sharper than the original straight through finder that came with my 8in dobsonian. Having a right angle finder makes using a dob so much nicer and having the image upright makes finding your way easier.
Eyepiece is very good and with comfortable eye relief. Having it removable is nice and makes the scope more versatile.
Focusers, seperate for eyepiece and crosshairs, move smoothly.
Over-all I'm very impressed with this scope and would highly recommend it as an upgrade over the mediocre stock finder scopes that come with most telescopes.

I've used straight through SV finders in the past and have not been disappointed. I was very happy with this one as well. Worked as expected.
