9x50 Finder Scope - Black

An outstanding finder scope. Excellent optically and well made. I really like the individual helical focusing feature - one for the cross hairs and one for the finder itself. Stars are pinpoints.
I also bought a Stellarvue 80mm finder scope. I use it as a nice low power RFT on nights when the weather is iffy or if I only have a short amount of time to observe. The 80mm yields pinpoint stars as well with very good contrast.

Very nice, replaced a pos that cost half the price. Good bright view, smooth helical focuser. My illuminator from another eyepiece fit the hole in the one provided.

I think it’s a nice high quality build. Instant upgrade for my c8 setup with the default red dot finder. As an example, finding M31 in light polluted skies near the zenith very hard with a dot finder. So much easier with a quality finder scope and the diagonal makes it comfortable. For the newbies like me, yes this is a RACI image which means it matches the orientation of looking at the sky with the naked eye. This does NOT exactly match the default view through a C8 eyepiece - they are flipped left right. Nothing wrong with this - just don’t expect different!

I have two of these finder scopes. One mounts on my SV-105 and I'm mounting the other on my Dob. I like the ability to change out eyepieces and the fact that they are RACI

I just purchased another 9x50 finder for my 12.5 inch dob. I already have one for my SV-105. I decided to add an optical finder in order to better find object near the zenith. I have a Telrad, but I was getting tired of straining my neck, and possibly falling of my ladder to locate objects at the zenith. I found this RACI finder to be perfect. In addition, it's at a very nice price point. I

This finder scope is excellent, the image is clear and sharp, 90 degrees viewer is very comfortable. The possibility of changing eyepieces is very useful.

These items were of the highest quality,naturally, since purchasing the skies have been clouded over, but I am sure this finder scope will be as excellent as the other Stellarvue items that I have purchased in the past. I would highly recommend this finder scope.
