Product Description
This finder scope is the lightest 50 mm on the market. It weighs only 19 ounces and works with our standard 50 mm ring systems. You may use other 1.25" eyepieces with this finder scope, converting it to a small telescope. It performs very nicely with Naglers! The 50 mm objective gathers 50 times the amount of light your naked eye does so you can more easily spot dimmer objects in the night sky.
This finder scope comes in a neutral matte black finish that goes well with any telescope regardless of color. Separate helical focusers allow you to first focus the crosshair reticle, then the optical focus. The angle of the prism and eyepiece may be rotated to place the eyepiece in the most comfortable position, but it may be necessary to readjust the finder scope once the eyepiece is rotated. We supply these finder scopes without rings so you can select the ring system that works with your particular telescope. Visit our 50-60 mm finder scope ring set page to determine and order the rings you will need.
Important! When installing mounting rings DO NOT unscrew the dew shield. The objective may fall out. Always unscrew the rear assembly (adapter, prism, focuser, eyepiece) from the main tube to install the rings.
*Rear thread size for all F050 models is M52 x 1mm

9x50 Finder Scope
I have two of these finder scopes. One mounts on my SV-105 and I'm mounting the other on my Dob. I like the ability to change out eyepieces and the fact that they are RACI

F050M2 Review
I just purchased another 9x50 finder for my 12.5 inch dob. I already have one for my SV-105. I decided to add an optical finder in order to better find object near the zenith. I have a Telrad, but I was getting tired of straining my neck, and possibly falling of my ladder to locate objects at the zenith. I found this RACI finder to be perfect. In addition, it's at a very nice price point. I

9x50 Finder Scope, Rings, and Reticle
These items were of the highest quality, naturally, since purchasing the skies have been clouded over, but I am sure this finder scope will be as excellent as the other Stellarvue items that I have purchased in the past. I would highly recommend this finder scope.

9X50 Finder Scope
The unit is quite sturdy but light. I purchase it with the illuminator, rings and SCT bracket to use on an 8" SCT that had an original straight finder scope - a little neck breaking at times. I have found the 90 degree angled view to be comfortable and the optics to be very sharp and the unit

Stellarvue 9x50 RA Finder - F050M2
This is my second Stellarvue 9x50 RA Finder. I upgraded both my Explore Scientific AR102 refractor and Celestron 6" Schmidt Cass to this finder. It is extremely well made and and saves my back and neck from the pain of using a straight thru finder. The Stellarvue is really a second telescope on both systems. I was able to observe M81 and many other DS objects in the finder; field of view and resolution with the 23mm 1.25" eyepiece are excellent. I was able to use the original mounting rings on the refractor. Packaging and shipping were great. Good customer service. Will buy from Stellarvue again. Clear skies!

9x50 Finderscope
Good overall quality. However the rubber focus adjustment ring slips and has to be gripped very hard in order to adjust the focus. Overall a very good product.
Reply from Stellarvue: Thank you for your review! We actually glue the rubber in place to avoid this but must have missed it on yours. If you like we will gladly send you a replacement no charge. Just email me at vic@stellarvue.com. Thank again. Vic Maris
