Brian Poole captured this heavenly image of the Lion Nebula (Sh2-132) in Cepheus with his SVX152T. This faint emission nebula rests approximately 10,000 light-years away from Earth and spans about 250 light-years across. The stars responsible for ionizing this region are the two Wolf Rayet stars, an O-type star and ten B-class stars. Nine sources of infrared radiation and a master with H2O emissions have been identified in this nebula’s direction.
