SVX140T - Lunar Eclipse

Ross Salomone captured this brilliant image of the lunar eclipse that occurred on March 3rd, with his SVX140T. This event is the result of the Moon passing through Earth's umbra, the darkest part of our planet's shadow. In that moment, sunlight is completely blocked from reaching the moon, causing it to appear red or orange as light scatters through our atmosphere.
