Lynds Bright Nebula 691 by Joel Short

Joel Short took this image of Molecular Cloud LBN691 using his Stellarvue SV80ST Refractor, Riccardi .75x reducer, Moravian G3-16200 camera and Optolong LRGB filters on his Mach1GTO CP4 mount.

Joel says, "Lynds "Bright" Nebula 691 (an oxymoron if ever there was one) is a molecular cloud in Ursa Major. It's really just a slightly more concentrated clump of galactic cirrus than the other faint stuff around it. I was able to get decent LUM data; the RGB was quite limited and wasn't the best quality. But I was able to get all 9.75 hours on this object in one night."
