AZ100 Basic mount with slow motion controls
This is one of the very best CNC machined, alt-azimuth mounts on the market. It is machined in the United Kingdom by Rowan. It has a black anodized finished and is fitted with stainless steel hardware.
Specifications include an 80.0 mm diameter 7075 aluminum wheel gear and brass worm gear in adjustable worm block.
32mm diameter 7075 aluminum axis shafts supported in high quality ball and taper bearings.
features include adjustable friction clutches on both axis and 360-degree slow-motion controls allowing simultaneous push-to and slo-mo tracking.
High quality flexible slow-motion cables included. Pair at 340mm & 440mm long. (custom lengths available)
Both slow motion controls remain in alignment with the observer at all times. Load capacity is 15-20 kg (about 44 pounds) on each side depending on scope length.

Mount base has M12 tapped hole to attach to tripods.
Options for the AZ100 Basic Mount:
1. Dual Losmandy / Vixen section saddle: 200m long with 2 clamps. Work with either the D-rail (Losmandy design) or V-rail (Vixen style) for complete flexibility. 200m long, lightweighted back side with 2 clamps. 16mm central thread for counter-weight shaft. 2. Pan Tilt Handle: This fits to the inside face of the saddle with 2 x M6 bolts and can be mounted on the left or right side of the mount. The handle is 14" long and is compatible with both the 'D' or 'DV' saddles.The included threaded block insert provides an angled mounting position.Altitude adjusting plate - When using a 2-scope setup, both scopes can be set to the same pointing position. 3. Counterweight Shaft for the 3.75 KG weight. For balancing the mount. 125mm diameter. 25mm hole. If using dual saddles, this shaft without mounting flange will thread into one of the saddles. 4. 3.75 KG Counterweight for #3 above counterweight shafts: AZ100 3.75 KG Counterweight.
5. 8 KG counterweight and shaft: This is an economical combination 8 KG counterweight and shaft that fits it.

6. Stainless tripod. The AZ100 with standard M12 bushing attaches directly to this tripod with or without the pier riser below. This solid stainless tripod will provide great stability for all our telescopes up to the SVX140T.
7. Losmandy Heavy Duty Tripod and Rowan mount adapter: For heavier telescopes (SVX140T - SVX180T) we recommend this heavy duty tripod for the ultimate stability. This tripod and the Rowan AZ100 Motorized mount is the system Vic Maris uses when he takes his SVX180T to various star parties and events.
8. Pier Riser: To avoid having certain telescopes strike the tripod legs, you may need this pier riser. Pier Riser 200 mm long.
