1. Stellarvue M002C Mount

Superb with my NP-101.

I bought this to have an airline portable mount. It moves beautifully making it easy to center objects at power. It holds my 102mm refractor nicely and can be mounted to a variety of tripods which means it can fill a variety of roles.

The representative from Stellervue worked me with to custom bore the mount I needed to use with an older Meade tripod. This mount works perfectly with my 8" Meade LX200 SC to give me the alt-az setup I wanted.

Solid product. excellent workmanship. size and weight of it allows me fine control over telescope movement..

I liked the one I bought for myself several years ago so much that I’m getting this one for my daughter.

Amazingly sturdy mount. Handles a 4" refractor with no issues. Also handles an 8 inch reflector stable enough for 300x on Venus. Sets up in seconds. Only dinging it a star because the threads on the knob turning action has a slightly rough feel, but I am a mechanical engineer and I notice tiny things like that. At the price point, it is fantastic. Just get it, you won't be sorry. Stop using tripod heads and just get it!

As a long time-user of the Unistar Deluxe mount, I finally decided to look at other mounts. My Unistar Deluxe ws showing it's age. I decided to purchase the M0002C mount. when I received, I could see that it was a finally engineered product. I mounted my SV105 on it and was very pleased with its movements. I am very impressed with this mount and I highly recommend this alt az mount to any including the discerning Amateur Astronomer.

Well constructed and solid! This is my second Stellarvue alt- azimuth mount. I bought this for my other portable tripod.

Just received this mount last week and have used it a couple times already. Quick and easy to set-up, extremely well made, and smooth motion during use. Great alt-az mount!

My long 100mm F9 ED doublet refractor went from over 4 seconds of annoying vibrations to under a second! I am so glad a dropped the coin on this beautiful M2C mount, it was money well spent. It's beefy, extremely well made and very pleasing to look at as well. Its a beautiful work of machined art and it performs flawlessly with its silky smooth operation.
