Tom Wideman used his Stellarvue SVX130T to capture this wonderful image of Thor's Helmet. 

Thor's Helmet, NGC 2359. January 21-22, 2023. Emission nebula in Canis Major. Abput 12,000 light-years away and 30 light-years in size. The central star is the Wolf-Rayet star WR7, an extremely hot star thought to be in a brief pre-supernova stage of evolution.

StellarVue SVX130T, ZWO ASI2600MM-Pro camera, Losmandy G-11 mount. Presented in the SHO palette, in which Sulfur-II, Hydrogen-Alpha, and Oxygen-III are represented in Red, Green, and Blue, respectively; the stars are in their natural RGB colors. This is an integration of 10 each 3-minute Red, Green, and Blue images, 10 each 15-minute Ha and O3, and eight 10-minute S2 images. 8 hours 30 minutes total exposure.
