Keith Hanssen took this image of the California Nebula (NGC 1499) using his Stellarvue SVR102T, large field flattener, full spectrum modified Canon 6D camera and IR-cut filters on his IEQ45 Pro mount (no guiding). Keith says, "All exposures were taken from my back patio south of Bozeman, Montana in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. 2 hours of 150" exposures at iso 1600 with Astronomik clip-in infrared cut filter and 1 hour of 180" exposures at iso 800 with Baader 2" infrared cut filter."
