Attention Stellarvue Owners! Upgrade now to the 90T!

Best Grab-and-Go Telescope

We spent three years designing what we consider to be the ultimate grab and go telescope. This telescope is as light and portable as an 80mm short tube, yet it delivers 90mm of stunning full apochromatic performance. We wanted to make sure our instrument was devoid of false color, provided excellent definition and a perfect star test. So we chose an apo triplet design using a Fluorite center element. The SV90T Fluorite Triplet telescopes are highly rated by users.

The SV90T is made at Stellarvue Headquarters and personally star tested by Vic Maris. All 90T telescope orders are being filled on a first come, first served basis subject to the terms of our wait list policy. Quality takes time but the current waiting times are reasonable (months not years). Approximate delivery time for an order placed now is shown here: Availability

STELLARVUE SV90T FLUORITE APO TRIPLET

This is the finest 90mm on the planet. It uses true Calcium Fluorite glass from Schott, providing extremely high contrast and resolution. This proprietary Stellarvue lens design. The focuser is a genuine Feather Touch dual speed 2" focuser with our unique rotating collet.  The main tube is made of two sections. Use as it comes for normal viewing, or remove the rear section of the main tube for use with binoviewers. In this mode, the SV90 does not need any optical correctors.  This provides a wider and sharper view when binoviewing. Stardust white tube and dewshield. When purchased with telescope above

Buy the telescope above and get the Deluxe MG alt azimuth mount head, grab & go tripod and save $149!

Get this mount and tripod with the telescope above to get this price. This is the manual version of the MG mount sold below. This mount comes without encoders but has the same gearing and stability of the MG. If you are a visual user who needs a manual mount for your telescope, this is the one. Gear axis is driven by an oversized worm gear. Move the mount manually from object to object, tighten the lock knobs and the gears are engaged. Paddle style lock knobs and large knurled adjustment knobs make navigation easy. This mount is much more stable than the M1. It mounts directly to our stainless grab and go tripod. The telescope attaches easily to the mount using the quick release TD2 spring loaded Vixen style dovetail shoe which is included. The mount has an integral column which extends the mount above the tripod for clearance. Note: Picture at left shows the mount with optional MH handle.  This mount is currently wait listed.

Accessories and options
Photographic Field Flattener

This system consists of the Televue field flattener. The flattener plugs into the 2" focuser and the camera mounts to the rear using a t-thread. This system will flatten the field photographically to increase the in focus image circle and will reduce the photographic speed from f-7 to f-5.6. The astro-photographs seen on this page were taken using this field flattener.

Standard Binoviewer With SCD Holders/Case Standard Binoviewer with new SCD holders
It's true. An historic review called "Binoviewer Shootout In The Desert" by Jim Gutman assembled 9 observers for a long night of side by side comparisons involving 5 binoviewers. We hadn't produced the Denk II at that time but suffice to say, The Standard came out very well.  After the review, several improvements were made to our Standard binoviewer. It now includes our special SCD Holders and the old Delrin slip-in holders while effective, were phased out long ago. This version includes SCD holders and a Denk Aluminum Case.

Deluxe Denk II Binoviewer. The prisms are polished to 1/8 wave surface accuracy and include special baffling to control off axis reflections. Super transmissive coatings formulated to provide maximum contrast throughout the visible spectrum are all features that are rolled into our Premium Denk II Binoviewer. SCD Holders and fully machined, and laser engraved aluminum eyepiece holder dust plugs are standard inclusions. Shipped in an aluminum case with die-cut foam padding. This is a finely tuned optical instrument worthy or being called the "Premium" Denk II Binoviewer.
