The ultra compact Stellarvue SV80S features an 80 mm diameter, 480 mm focal length apo triplet lens, outperforming many other 80mm ED apo lenses by a wide margin. By using the most advanced glass types in fully
optimized air-spaced triplet, this apochromat is simultaneously corrected for secondary color spectrum, coma, spherical and higher order aberrations.
The SV80S is also a terrific astro-photographic platform. Photographs taken with the SV80S are stunning thanks to the telescopes extremely high optical accuracy, precise focusing ability and fast photographic speed. Click here for some samples of astrophotographs taken with the Stellarvue SV80S.
Limited opportunity: Lomo has discontinued the 80mm triplet lens. Once our existing stock is gone, this telescope will be discontinued. Hurry as quantities are limited.
Zygo and star tested 80 mm clear aperture, air spaced, apochromatic triplet objective using a super ED center element.
Optical design and accuracy combined with precise alignment ensures true apochromatic performance.
