The SV 160 is our largest oil spaced apochromatic telescope designed to be the best on its class. This is a big telescope that can be transported to a remote site when used with an MI-250 mount and pier. It is also a wonderful telescope for permanent installation in an observatory. The objective is our best oil spaced triplet yet providing superior performance in the areas of field flatness, color correction, coma and sphero-chromatism.

Each telescope provides a very wide, highly corrected field. Each lens surface is figured by a master optician to exacting tolerances. The telescope is fully baffled and has an interior tube treatment to eliminate reflections, further enhancing contrast. It is provided with a 3.5" fully rotating Feather Touch Focuser, solid cnc machined all aluminum tube, retracting dew shield, threaded aluminum lens cover, oversized cnc aluminum rings, F2 multi-reticle finder.
