This aluminum guide-scope ring system is designed for mounting guide-scopes on a larger telescope. Each system features two 120 mm ID rings with three adjustment screws. These adjustment screws are essential for aligning both telescopes so they are pointed at the same object. The screws are stainless with nylon tips and t handles to make adjustment easy. The rings are attached to dovetail shoes. These shoes slide onto the dovetail rail which is permanently attached to the main telescope. Simply slide the telescope with rings and dovetail bases on or off the telescope in one piece. These rail mounts atop a refractor by attaching directly to the top of the dual rings. For most popular SCT telescopes, the rail attaches to the front and rear cells.

Short rail guide-scope ring system. Includes two 120mm ID rings with three large stainless, nylon tipped adjustment screws with T-knobs, two dovetail bases that slide onto a rail that is 6 1/2" long. The rail mounts atop any dual rings that have a top threaded hole. Attachment screws pass through slots on the rail. The slots provide an adjustable hole spacing from 3.5" to 5.75". So use this rail if your rings are between 3.5" and 5.75" apart. This is the plate for mounting the rail to the top of rings when they are mounted to the Stellarvue TP-6 or Losmandy DUPS plate. #RSS

Medium rail guidescope ring system. Identical to the system above but the rail is15" long. Slots for mounting holes providing a adjustable hole spacing from 11.5" to 13.75". Use this rail for mounting to the 8" SCT's. Separate attachment bases are provided for use with Celestron telescopes.  #RSM

Long rail guidescope ring system. Identical to the system above but the rail is 20" long. Slots for mounting holes providing a adjustable hole spacing from 15.25" to 18.75". This is the correct spacing for the Meade 7" Mak, 10" SCT and 12" SCT. #RSL
