SV102ED ======================================================= Vic, Thank you very much. I finally got the opportunity to make the adjustment this week. I had to wait for the weather to cooperate - needed a cold night without clouds and rain. It was a very easy fix and now my 102ED displays textbook diffraction rings. Thanks again for all your help and for the marvelous equipment that you make available to amateurs such as myself. ======================================================= Hi Shelly: Just a note to let you know about my first clear night with the Stellarvue 102mm ED refractor. Stars were pinpoint, the Moon at low, medium and high powers showed absolutely no color. The white Moon went to jet black sky with no CA. After viewing the Moon with a 5mm TeleVue eyepiece, I increased the power using the 5mm with a Klee 2.8X barlow and the results were incredible. No breakdown in image quality. A real mind blower. The scope is capable of very high power on bright objects with excellent results. The scope is mounted on the Celestron CG-5 equatorial mount with no shake at all, even at the highest power. The focuser on the 102 is smooth as glass and transfers zero shake to the image. Vic has built a dream scope with the introduction of this very user friendly, very beautiful and high performance ED refractor. I will always be greatfull and it will NEVER be for sale. It's with me for life.!! Happy in Puyallup. : >) ======================================================= Vic, Thank you very much. I finally got the opportunity to make the adjustment this week.
